Jockey Steven King has been booked to ride the Oliver Koolman trained Hidden Dragon in the BTC Cup at Doomben next Saturday.

"Steven hasn't ridden Hidden Dragon himself but does know the horse well from when he was riding in Hong Kong," said Koolman.

"He'll run in the BTC Cup (1200m) on Saturday April 30 and then back-up a week later over 1400m at Eagle Farm.

"We won't go to the Doomben 10,000 with him, rather he'll run a week before the Stradbroke ($1 Million Group I Stradbroke Handicap (1400m)) and then back-up in that race.

Hidden Dragon by Danehill from Ballroom Babe, has an imposing record with six wins and seven placings from only 16 starts.

He's earned over $1.5 million in prize money with wins that have ranged from 1000m up to 1400m.
