New Zealand owned Rush Two won at his second start in Australia for Mrs Tracy Guthrie who also trained the gelding for two wins in New Zealand. Mrs Guthrie of Otaki, was very excited to see the Musswellbrook win live on New Zealand television.
The Green Perfume - Geraldine 4 year has appreciated the warmer climate and has settled in well to his new surroundings at Warwick Farm, Sydney.
Yesterdays win was the geldings second start since arriving in Australia and judging by the win, where he held of an early challenge for the lead and got to the line with authority, there is more to come on his Australian campaign.
It is difficult to see Rush Two paying the odds of 16/1 again but wins are sweet and the Green Perfume gelding was responsible for a sniff of bubbly on both sides of the Tasman. |
