Right on the back of Our Jetsetter's win last Saturday at Kembla Grange, "Double Dip" displayed a similar will to win in a class 6 over 1000m at Wyong on Thursday. "Double Dip" is a 5yo gelding bred in Ireland, he was sold to Hong Kong where he was only able to win one race. As he was not handling the 24/7 stable life in Hong Kong and had soundness problems, the decision was made to retire him to Australia by owner Francis Lui, a Koolman friend/client for 28 years. Racing him here in Australia was only an option if he were to please us in and around the stables, if not he was to live out his life on a nice farm somewhere. He has pleased us, especially since being gelded, by running 4th at both Wyong and Canterbury before his win on Thursday. Double Dip will next race in the $30,000 "Cannonball", again at class 6 level at Wyong on 25/5.
